Arsenal player Santi Cazorla has said that he believes that new signing Mesut Ozil can be the player needed to change the club's fortunes and steer them to victory.
Arsenal, who visit West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, are top of the Premier League after seven straight wins in all competitions, raising hopes this could be the year when they end their nine-season wait for a trophy.
According to Metro.co.uk, Cazorla believes that Ozil has taken Arsenal to the next level and can also steer Arsenal to victory this season as he is a top player and is a 'different footballer' who wins matches.
Stating that Ozil has given Arsenal what they need, the Spaniard also said that Ozil's incorporation in to the side has given the squad a big step-up in terms of quality and a chance of fighting for the title, adding that he is personally benefiting from playing alongside the former Real Madrid player.
