Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Saturday alleged that former Congress MLA Asif Mohammad Khan was making fun of the media with his baseless and unwarranted audio tape.
"For the last three days, he [Asif Mohammad Khan] has been making fun of the media. Media is the fourth pillar of the nation. You [the media] have a very significant role. Kindly please stop broadcasting such baseless news," he told ANI.
"Technology is so advanced that he could have blurred or muted that editor's voice and then released the tape," he added.
The Congress leader, however, said he would release the audio tape very soon.
"We assure you [the media]. Please be patient. We also have some strategy. Everything has the right time," he said.
Khan had earlier alleged that the AAP leaders met him several times and also talked over the phone to persuade him to join the party.
