Members of the Assistant Urban Programme Officer's Welfare Forum (AUPOWF) of Urban Development and Housing Department recently staged a peaceful dharna to protest against the deputation of UPO and AUPO from the Public Works Department (PWD).
The engineers' forum has expressed their displeasure over "injustice" meted out to them by the authority in the form of deputation.
"If we are not qualified, then why the authorities have hired us? We have our Swacch Bharat Abhiyan here.we are working very hard for the programme of the central government. We want the authority to listen to our grievances," a worker said.
