Charlotte Hays has branded Jay Z as "a poor excuse for a husband".
The author of 'When Did White Trash Become the New Normal?' said that he wasn't surprised to see the 44-year-old American rapper looking pleased at his wife's "hypersexualised exhibition on stage" because he objectified his own wife on stage, News.com.au reported.
She added that he didn't want to watch the couple's foreplay and that they have "blurred the line between what goes on in their bedroom and what happens on national TV".
Hays claimed that the reason the husband of Beyonce stood smiling and singing as his scantily clad wife straddles a chair and shakes her rear end for other men's titillation was because he has made a living singing lyrics that call women 'bitches' and 'hos'.
She believes that the 'Halo' singer has contributed to the disparity in gender equality by consenting to "sell sexuality".
