B-town gives thumbs up to 'Karwaan' trailer

The makers of the Irrfan Khan-starrer 'Karwaan' dropped the trailer yesterday and it has garnered attention not only from the audience but also from the entire Bollywood fraternity.

Director-Producer Karan Johar took to Twitter and shared the trailer of the movie with the caption, "The way @irrfank renders his dialogues is absolute genius! Welcome to the Hindi movies @dulQuer !! L you're amazing! Such a lovely slice of life trailer! Excited to see #Karwaan http://bit.ly/Karwaan-Trailer congratulations to @RSVPMovies"

'Dangal' scriptwriter and director Nitesh Tiwari also took to the micro-blogging website and wrote,"What a lovely trailer brother @dulQuer Best wishes to you and team Karwaan. @RonnieScrewvala"

'Dum Maaro Dum' actor Rana Dagubbati, meanwhile, tweeted, "This is too cool DQ. All the best and congrats on going pan indian champ @dulQuer"

'Murder 3' actress Aditi Rao Hyadri expressed excitement about the trailer and wrote, "DQ!!!!!!! This looks like Mad fun! Welcome to Hindi cinema!!!! Big fat hug! @dulQuer"

Pulkit Samrat, the 'Sanam Re' actor, also took to Twitter to write, "Faaaaabbbbbb trailer!!! @irrfank outstanding stuff sir!!!!! @dulQuer welcome brother.. killin' it! @mipalkar @MrAkvarious can't wait!! #KarwaanTrailer ??"

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, 'Karwaan' marks the Bollywood debut of Mithila Palkar and Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan.

'Karwaan' revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives.

The movie is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
