Dr. Paul Munsanje of Amara Aesthetics and Beyond MediSpa at Harvey Nichols has provided his expert advice on how to get luscious lips and avoid trout pout.

Munsanje said that the first golden tip for lip filler treatment is that the top lip should be half the size of the bottom lip as it looks bizarre when the top lip is as big or, even worse, bigger than the bottom lip, the Daily Star reported.

Munsanje added that lips should generally get no more than 30 per cent bigger than its natural size as although it is possible to make lips twice the size, it is almost impossible to do it naturally.

He continued that his third is that the lips should be defined before giving it volume and his last tip is that the projection of the lips should not be too great.
