New Delhi, Dec 23 (ANI): Singer-composer Bappi Lahiri's short film "Slum Stars" won an award at the International Film and Entertainment Festival Australia, on Monday.
However, the veteran film music composer would not rest with this laurel. He is planning to come up with the sequel of the film.
In an exclusive conversation to ANI, Bappi Lahiri said, "I want to keep working and do something new. I want to make 'Slum Star 2' with children coming from slums of different states. I want to make them sing. I do not want to limit myself with Mumbai slum children."
"Slum Stars" is film intended to give a platform to gifted artistes from the slums of Mumbai.
The film received the Best Short Film award at the International Film and Entertainment Festival, Australia.
Disco King Bappi Lahiri is all set to spread what he calls his 'disco' fever over the international platforms as he is soon going to collaborate with American rapper Snoop Dogg, and American rapper and songwriter Akon.
