Barbados-born England cricketer Chris Jordan is reportedly striving to make a name in his own right and emulate the success of his old schoolfriend and global sensation Rihanna.
The Sussex bowler has impressed as a new-ball bowler during the current one-day series in Australia.
According to the Mirror, Jordan, who used to share a Barbados classroom with Rihanna and had previously revealed that they are still in contact, said that he wants to improve his lower-order hitting because those sort of players are priceless.
Jordan came under scrutiny as the latest England player raised overseas while making his international debut four months ago, although he insisted that nationality is no issue as his mother Rosita is 100 per cent British, the report added.
