Bear Grylls has topped the list of television's top adventurers.
The 40-year-old former SAS officer, who won the poll conducted by Radio Times earning more than 4,000 votes, and beat Ben Fogle, 40, who came second, followed by Ray Mears, 50, who ranked third, the Daily Star reported.
The magazine's travel editor Jade Bremner said that Grylls, who would make his big screen as voice for Disney's 'Planes: Fire and Rescue,' had formed his own "brand of adventure TV."
Meanwhile, late Steve Irwin, 44, who was tragically killed by a stingray while filming a documentary in 2006, came 4th.
