Benedict Cumberbatch set to voice 'Shere Khan' in 'Jungle Book'

Benedict Cumberbatch will lend his voice to the man-eating tiger villain 'Shere Khan' in the upcoming movie 'Jungle Book' by Warner Bros, it has been reported.

The classic tale, written by Rudyard Kipling, centers on Mowgli, an orphaned boy raised by wolves who befriends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther. The tiger Shere Khan and Mowgli are lifelong enemy, with each vowing to kill the other, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Callie Kloves wrote the script and her father, Steve Kloves would be producing. Whereas, Andy Serkis, would be making his directorial debut with the movie.
