Berdych sails into Australian Open quarter-finals

Czech tennis ace Tomas Berdych has sailed into the quarterfinals of the Australian Open after winning his fourth round clash against South African Kevin Anderson at the Melbourne Park.

Berdych defeated Anderson 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 on Sunday at the Margaret Court Arena in three sets with an impressive array of winners to extend his record to 10-0 over the South African in just under two hours.

Berdych will now meet Spaniard David Ferrer in the quarter-finals.
