Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Preeti Sharma Menon on Wednesday said former law minister Somnath Bharti is not running away from the law, but exercising his right to take bail from the Supreme Court.

"Technically, he is not running away, he is exercising his right to take bail. And, he is approaching the apex court. So, he is within his right to do that," Menon told ANI.

"But personally, we would think that that's not a very good strategy. Personally, we think that one must let the law take its own course," she added.
