President Mukherjee extends greeting to Guinea Bissau on eve of I-Day

President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau on the eve of their Independence Day.

"On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, and to the Government and the people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day," said President Mukherjee in his message to Jose Mario Vaz, the President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau

"India and Guinea Bissau enjoy warm and friendly relations. I am confident that our bilateral ties will further strengthen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two peoples," he added.
