Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Monday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lacks leaders and leadership.
Reacting to the induction of former IPS officer and activist Kiran Bedi and former AAP leader and MLA Vinod Kumar Binny in the BJP, Surjewala said, "The BJP neither has a leader, neither a policy nor any leadership."
On the issue of former Union Minister Krishna Tirath, a Congress leader joining the BJP, he said, "The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can welcome these opportunistic faces."
The Congress leader also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party who termed itself as a 'party of differences' has now become a 'party of defectors.'
Tirath is likely to formally join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) this evening.
