Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Prahlad Gunjal on Friday clarified his conversation with Kota Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr R.N. Yadav, saying that he spoke to him with respect multiple times but he didn't respond.
"My words might be bad and I apologized, spoke to him with respect multiple times but he didn't respond then," said Gunjal.
Earlier in the day, the BJP suspended Gunjal after Dr Yadav registered a complaint of threat and intimidation against him.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also sought a report on the incident.
Gunjal has been accused for allegedly threatening Yadav with dire consequences for not issuing transfer orders to the kin of a party worker.
