Actor Paul Bhattacharjee, who played a doctor in the 2006 007 film 'Casino Royale', has been missing for almost a week, Scotland Yard has revealed.
He was last seen at London's Royal Court Theatre July 10, after taking a rehearsal.
Bhattacharjee, 53, had sent a text message to his girlfriend at 9pm that night but there has been no news of him ever since, Sky News reported.
Police said the 'Dirty Pretty Things' star's disappearance was "totally out of character".
A spokeswoman for the theatre told the publication that Bhattacharjee left on Wednesday in good spirits but didn't make it to rehearsals the next day.
Bhattacharjee, who was performing in the Weekly Rep series, is 6ft tall with short grey hair.
When he went missing, Bhattacharjee was wearing light-colored trousers, a blue shirt and light-coloured shoes and was carrying a black backpack.
