Brad Pitt has filed a temporary emergency restraining order against his red carpet attacker Vitalii Sediuk, during the premier of 'Maleficent', according to reports.
According to E! News, the protective orders were issued by police and good for five days and the actor will be forced to take go to court if he wanted a longer temporary restraining order.
A spokesperson from the film studio told the publication that this was an unfortunately and inappropriate incident that was being investigated by the LAPD.
An eyewitness said that Sediuk rushed the 50-year-old actor after he decided to jump the rope and hop onto the carpet.
Sediuk apparently got into contact with Brad but police quickly took control of the situation and detained the man.
