England bowler Tim Bresnan has said that the tourists will use the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne as a springboard to bounce back from their 'lowest point' after losing the Ashes to Australia, according to reports.

According to the BBC, England's 150-run defeat in Perth meant the hosts regained the urn by taking a 3-0 lead in the five-Test series.

Bresnan said that he does not think Melbourne would be a dead Test match as England would be looking to make it 3-2.

He added that how teams bounce back from their lowest point is how they should be judged, adding that the Ashes are gone but they are still playing with pride.

He further said that the atmosphere in Melbourne is great and it can't get any bigger than the Boxing Day Test, adding that there is no such thing as dead Tests in Ashes.
