A case has been registered against the owner of the 60-year-old building in Delhi's Taimur Nagar which collapsed earlier in the day.
The building, which belonged to retired government official Dhruv Kumar, collapsed at 9:45 am on Friday.
According to media sources, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Romil Baaniya said, "The building is decades-old and could be around 50 to 60 years. The owner of the building and a labourer were suspected to be stuck under the debris."
Soon after the mishap, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Delhi Police rushed to the spot.
The building was reportedly under construction.
Further investigation is on.
