California couple married for 62years dies 4hours apart

A couple from Bakersfield, California, who was married for 62 years died 4 hours apart while lying next to each other.

Don Simpson was hospitalized for breaking his hip and around the same time, Maxine Simpson's cancer also progressed, ABC News reported.

Don and Maxine from California, traveled the world together, adopted two boys almost did everything together.

Melissa Sloan, granddaughter of Maxine said that the duo left this world together, it was absolutely beautiful, and the story was beautiful.

Sloan added that all Don wanted was to be with his beautiful wife and he adored her grandmother loved her to the end of the Earth.

She said that her granny woke up and saw him, and held hands and they knew that they were next to each other.

Sloan added that she walked them out with her body, walked back in to check on grandpa and he quit breathing as soon as her body left the room. Don left wither granny, and they passed four hours apart from each other.
