The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against former media honcho Peter Mukerjea, who has been arrested in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
A special CBI court had last week rejected his bail plea, observing that investigation in the matter was still on.
Mukerjea's bail plea will now be considered after the chargesheet.
The media honcho was arrested on November 19 for his alleged role in the murder conspiracy in which his wife Indrani Mukerjea is the prime accused.
The 59-year-old was questioned by the CBI for two weeks after which he was remanded in judicial custody and sent to the Arthur Road Jail.
