Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday met Chief Election Commissioner H.S. Brahma to express concern over the discrepancy in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and to know what procedure must be followed in such a scenario.

"People have a huge doubt regarding EVMs, that's what we came to talk to the EC about. EC has found a great solution to it," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal further said that the Election Commission has assured that the EVM will be replaced in case it is found faulty.

"The person, if faced with such a situation, they are to report it to the officer, and if found faulty, a new EVM will be brought in," Kejriwal added.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal said that the people of Delhi are worried about discrepancy in the EVMs.

"People worried about EVMs. While voting, if u press "A" party but light against "B" party lit, what should you do?" tweeted Kejriwal.

Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has been locked in a fierce battle with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Delhi polls.

The BJP has been posing five questions to the AAP as part of its ongoing election campaign for the upcoming polls.

The AAP, however, has hit back at the BJP for not issuing a manifesto and shying away from a debate between its chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi and Kejriwal.

Elections in Delhi are scheduled to take place on February 7, with the counting of the votes to take place on February 10.

The last day of campaigning for the polls is February 5.
