The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government was not at all indecisive, and added that the Centre has been consistently working , launching schemes for the poor, the farmers and the marginalised sections of society since it assumed power on May 26.2014.

"Over the last one year, after the Prime Minister assumed office and started working, his government has been consistently working and has assured higher credibility for governance, a clean government where there are no scams, no allegations about any kind of corruption," BJP leader Nalin Kohli told ANI.

"A government that is clearly launching scheme after scheme for the poor, for the farmers for the other marginalised sections of the society. This is not an indecisive government," he added.

On May 26, the government will complete one year in office which was voted to power last year.

The Prime Minister on August 28 launched a massive financial inclusion programme named 'Jan Dhan Yojana' that aims to help provide a bank account for every household in the country.

He also launched a nationwide programme 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' urging people to prevent female foeticide and encourage girl child education.
