Centurion ODI: India win toss, opted to bowl first

India won the toss and decided to field first in the second one-day international (ODI) of the six-match series being played at the Supersport Park here on Sunday.

India will play with the same playing XI that beat South Africa in first ODI in Durban.

For South Africa, batsman Khaya Zondo will make an ODI debut as he was named in the squad for injured regular skipper Faf du Plessis, whereas all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo is called in for left-arm wristspinner Tabraiz Shamsi.

Opening batsman Aiden Kyle Markram will be leading the hosts as du Plessis has been ruled out for the remaining series and T20Is due to a figure injury.

India are currently leading the series1-0 after thrashing the Proteas by six wickets in the first ODI, and will aim make it a 2-0 here with the help of their in-form top order and fatal bowling side, including wrist-spinner duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.

India Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (capt.), Ajinkya Rahane, MS Dhoni (wk), Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal.

South Africa Playing XI: Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock (wk), Aiden Markram (c), JP Duminy, David Miller, Khaya Zond, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Morne Morkel, Tabraiz Shamsi, Imran Tahir.
