A biopic may be made on the founder of the Alibaba Group, Jack Ma, it has been revealed.
According to Hollywood Reporter, producer Janet Yang and writer Bruce Feirstein are assembling a film based on the 49-year-old business tycoon, who recently became the richest man in China with an estimated fortune of 25 billion dollars (2014 Hurun Rich List).
Ma's group of Internet-based e-commerce businesses raised a record-breaking initial public offering (IPO) of 21.8 billion dollars on its very first day of trading and so Yang is looking to set up an international co-production focusing on Ma and his life.
