Garbine Muguruza, who on Sunday claimed her maiden Cincinnati Masters title, has soared into the top three after her of the WTA Rankings released on Monday.
Muguruza, the Wimbledon champion took just 56 minutes to ease past Simona Halep 6-1, 6-0 for her first Western & Southern Open title.
Former world number one Angelique Kerber has moved down three places in the rankings.
Other than that, the Top 10 stays exactly the same, with Karolina Pliskova staying on top of the world - even though four other women (Kerber, Simona Halep, Elina Svitolina, and Caroline Wozniacki) had the chance to topple her had they put together a strong enough campaign in Cincinnati.
