The Congress Party on Monday released a booklet containing a list of 'u-turns' by the Aam Aadmi Party, stating that with each about-face, the latter had displayed a 'failure of responsibility'.

"From red beacons on government cars to bungalows, there are 16 points of u-turn during their [the AAP's] 49 days in power," senior party leader Ajay Maken, who has been made the face of the campaign for the upcoming assembly polls in Delhi, said at a press conference here.

Maken also alleged that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal had made one such 'u-turn' when he resigned as the chief minister of Delhi.

"He [Kejriwal] did not consult the people when he had to quit office, though he had sworn to do just that," Maken said.

Earlier in the day, the Congress had made a formal complaint against Kejriwal with the Election Committee over the latter's 'bribe' remarks, where the AAP chief urged the people of Delhi to accept money offered by the grand old party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, but to vote for him.

"We have pleaded that the EC that, understanding the gravity of the statement made, it should take stern action against [Kejriwal]. This is scandalous," Congress legal cell head KC Mittal said.

The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase on February 7, with the counting of votes set to take place on February 10.
