George Clooney will appear in 'Downton Abbey' charity film which is a part of ITV's annual 'Text Santa' campaign, it has been revealed.
ITV said that the 53-year-old actor will not star in any of the episodes of the show, CNN reported.
The channel further stated that if Clooney was to act then he would be among old friends.
The annual fund-raiser "drums up" support for six UK charities, including Alzheimer's Society and Teenage Cancer Trust.
