20 clubs from around the world reportedly want former English footballer David Beckham to play for their side after the midfielder hinted that he could come out of retirement.

Beckham has reportedly been contacted by teams in Bolivia, China, Colombia, Japan, the US and Australia, and the teams are keen to sign him after he revealed in a TV documentary that he was missing the game.

According to the Daily Star, a source said that the offers have come flooding in for the former Manchester United midfielder from all around the world.

However, insiders believe that Beckham is more likely to become a player-owner with his Major League Soccer (MLS) team that he is launching in Miami in 2017.

The source said that Beckham would be unique in US football as an owner and player, adding that even if he did just 20 minutes for a few games the crowds would roll in.

The former England captain has reportedly held talks already with a Bolivian club to play in the Copa Libertadores, the South American version of the Champions League.

Club Bolivar chief Marcelo Claure, a friend of Beckham, said that he has spoken to the footballer about playing, adding that they have never closed the door on this as it is a dream.
