CNG price in the national capital witnessed a hike by 25 paise per kg, Indraprastha Gas (IGL) announced.
The price has been revised to Rs 36.85 per kg in Delhi and Rs 42.20 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad respectively.
CNG price in Delhi is raised by 25 paise per kg, whereas, in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad it is likely to be around 30 paise.
The prices would be effective from midnight tonight, IGL said in a release.
With the objective to boost CNG refuelling during non-peak hours, IGL will continue to offer a discount of Rs 1.50 per kg in the selling prices of CNG for filling between 12-5 a.m. at select outlets.
IGL reported that the price hike has been necessitated due to recent appreciation of US dollar vis-a-vis rupee.
