While covering the annual gay pride parade in London, a CNN journalist mistook a flag with sex toys on it for the flag of the terrorist organisation Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
According to News.com.au, the report came on CNN as 'breaking news'.
A banner stretching across the bottom of the news channel's TV feed read "Just in: ISIS flag spotted at gay pride parade," as cameras repeatedly panned and zoomed in on it.
The journalist reported that the flag clearly tried to imitate the ISIS flag.
However, it turned out to be a flag featuring crude drawings of sex toys.
The report has been the butt of jokes on social media.
