Pakistan's explosive batsman Sharjeel Khan has expressed his happiness at being included in the national quad for next month's World T20 in India, saying that he is confident of performing well in the tournament.
The 26-year-old said he is determined to play a positive game in the upcoming event, insisting that he had been focusing on improving his performance, the Dawn reported.
Sharjeel was the first batsman to score century in the recently-concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) for which he had also received praise from skipper Shahid Afridi.
Reflecting on the same, the emerging cricketer said his focus was to become the first man to hit a century in the PSL and that he was glad to achieve it.
The ICC is slated to be held in India from March 8, with Pakistan playing their opening match against the hosts on March 19.
