Cook insists England to reclaim Ashes post Birmingham victory

England skipper Alastair Cook has called his team to reclaim the Ashes despite the absence of its star bowler James Anderson in the remaining matches of the five-match Test series.

Cook asserted that it was disappointing to lose the fast bowler for the upcoming Test, especially after seeing Anderson's brilliant record at Trent Bridge, stuff.co.nz reported.

He, however, said that it would provide an opportunity for someone else to show something special.

The 30-year-old further praised his players for the manner in which they returned back against the Ashes holders, saying that each player should be really proud of the way they performed to bounce back.

Earlier, England chased down a paltry target of 121 within 32.1 overs, leading to eight-wicket win over Australia.

The fourth Test in the five-match series would be held from 20th August at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
