Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav slammed Narendra Modi led union Government and said that it has imposed a situation of 75% emergency in the country.
Backing his allegation, the way central agencies are being misused it seems that there is an emergency in the country.
To back his claim, he cited example of recent I-T raids in Bengaluru against Karanataka Power Minister DK Shivakumar's residence and resort where 44 Congress MLAs are staying.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Lalu Prasad Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did this to threaten the Congress. He said, "According to the BJP, there were 9 crores in the resort. But they didn't find anything".
He also said that the people who are associated with BJP have been roaming free despite being involved in a number of scams.
He spoke about how Pakistan forced Nawaz Sharif to resign after they found out about his involvement in the Panama Papers.
Yadav added, "People like Aishwarya Rai, Raman Singh's son, Amitabh Bachchan etc and 424 other people have been named in the Panama Papers. Despite this, there haven't been any investigation on the matter."
Earlier on Wednesday, the I-T raided the house and resort of Karnataka Power Minister DK Shivakumar. On Thursday morning, they raided his father-in-law's house and his property in Delhi.
