Commenting on the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) criticism for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and calling them racists for the raid conducted by Delhi law minister on Ugandan nationals, Congress leader Meem Afzal on Sunday said that criticism on such an issue did not suit the BJP.
"The BJP themselves have a history of the racism, and recalled the statement of BJP leader and Goa Minster Dayanand Manderakar that 'Nigerians are like cancer'." said Afzal.
"After that passing comment on this issue does not suit them. It is hypocrisy," he said
"Commenting on the foreign nationals and making racist comments about foreign nationals should not be done by the BJP in national interest," said Afzal.
"The BJP too needs to be more responsible," he added.
