In the wake of the fire that broke out at Mumbai's Crystal Tower, an FIR has been lodged on Wednesday against developer Abdul Razak Ismail Supariwala.
The FIR has been lodged under Sections 304, 336, 337, and 338 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(3) of Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Act, 2006.
The level-III fire that broke out on the 12th floor in the Mumbai high-rise, claimed four lives and left 22 people injured. The fire broke out today morning and was doused within a few hours.
Earlier this month, a level-III fire broke out at the Hydro Cracker plant of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) refinery in Chembur, injuring 45 people.
Over the past few months, several instances of the same nature were reported.
