Aam Aadmi Party leader Anjali Damania on Saturday termed the leaking of the letter written by former chief of naval staff Admiral (retired) Laxminarayan Ramdas to party's top brass as 'shocking', and accused senior party leader Yogendra Yadav of leaking it.

"The leaking of the letter by Admiral Ramdas was the shocking part. He had written a very passionate letter, pointing out drawbacks of many leaders in the party, including Arvind Kejriwal. That letter was leaked, and then, saying in the media that all this was a trivial matter, then you should tell why you leaked the letter. If you did not leak the letter, then you should have investigated the matter as to who did it," Damania told ANI while pinning the blame directly on Yadav.

When asked if she is speaking about Yogendra Yadav, Damania said, " yes of course."

She further accused Yogendra Yadav of practicing 'double standards'.

"He used to say that he believes in 'one party one post'. But then, there are exceptions for those who are close to Yogendra Yadav. Like in the case of Subhash Bare, who is both the convener for the party in Maharashtra as well as a member of national executive, just because he is a close aide of Yogendra Yadav. So, why are there double standards?" she asked.

Earlier, senior AAP leader Admiral Ramdas had written a letter to party chief Arvind Kejriwal as well as party members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, expressing concern over the growing divide and trust within the party.

Admiral Ramdas, in his letter, reportedly sought to draw the attention of the founding members to the importance of 'internal unity' and appealed for a quick resolution.

Later, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were removed from the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) on March 4.
