After much uproar and controversies, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum-opus 'Padmaavat' will hit the screens on Thursday.
With emotional eyes and happy face, Padmavati aka Deepika Padukone, who was accoladed with 'India's Most Stylish Female' title at the HT Most Stylish Awards, said that the film has spoken for itself, against all the odds it faced from the very inception.
"I think there is a time for everything. The film has spoken for itself, like you have seen the reactions to the film. It has been phenomenal. That is in a way the best response we can give, through the work that we do," she said, while addressing the media at the event on Wednesday.
Speaking about the emotions she is undergoing a night before the release, the leggy lass said, "I am extremely overwhelmed and emotional right now. This film has been through so much and now, to see the film finally releasing and the kind of reactions that the film is getting, it is extremely over whelming. Happy to see the reactions I am getting for my performance."
Further talking about the Box Office expectations from such a larger-than-life film, Deepika said, "I am not someone who has ever been excited about the Box Office numbers. But I have to say, this time, I am; because I think it's going to be earth-shattering."
"We are extremely excited for the release tomorrow. It's a big day for us. On behalf of the entire film, we thank all of you for being so supportive. Now it's time for us to celebrate and see the film doing wonders at the Box Office," she added.
Keeping up her royal look from the film, the 32-year-old actress walked in to the award night in a pink silk saree, and gold earrings and necklace.
Add on to her stunning look were her smokey eyes and neat hairdo.
Present at the event was Shahid Kapoor, who won the 'India's most stylish male' award.
