Delhi Deputy CM to meet President Mukherjee to discuss changes in education system

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia is likely to meet President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday.

The meeting is likely to focus on the possibility of changing Delhi's education system.

Sisodia had earlier announced a 25 percent reduction in the school syllabus and stressed on the need for the all round development of students.

The government also announced that the curriculum of classes IX to XII will be reduced from the next academic year.
