Sisodia to meet President Mukherjee to discuss changes in education system

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is also the state Education Minister, is likely to meet President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday.

The meeting is likely to focus on the possibilities to bring about changes in Delhi's education system.

Earlier, Sisodia announced a 25 per cent reduction in school syllabus, stressing the need for an all-round development of the students.

The government also announced that the curriculum of classes IX to XII will also see a similar reduction from the next academic year.
