Hundreds of passengers at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport were stranded on Monday after 125 flights were delayed and 11 got cancelled due to low visibility in the national capital.

Earlier in the day, operations at the IGI Delhi resumed after remaining suspended for a few hours in the wake of a dense fog canopying the whole national capital region and the visibility dropping below 50 metres.

Visibility levels at the Delhi Airport had gone below 50 metres on Sunday morning as well.
