Princess Diana's former lover Major James Hewitt, who she met in 1986 when he taught her and Princes William and Harry to ride, is back in Britain and living with his mum.
A source told the Daily Star that "grey-haired and balding" Hewitt looks a lot different now from the man Diana fell for.
After returning from Spain, the cavalry officer is living with his mother in a 250,000 pounds two-bedroom former country house near Exeter, Devon.
Hewitt currently drives an old Fiat Punto and lives on an Army pension of almost 500 pound per month.
Hewitt moved to Spain to open his own restaurant after being dubbed "The Cad" for writing a book about his love affair with Diana and trying to sell her love letters for 10 million pounds.
