Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth were arrested for 'disorderly conduct' in 2013, but the actress believes that the incident has saved their marriage.
A source claimed to Radar Online that the 38-year-old star and her hubby have been telling their friends that their arrest was the best thing to have happened for their marriage and was a huge wake-up call.
The couple now has a changed lifestyle with a new fitness regime, has cut down on the drinks, and Witherspoon has even restricted her expenses on clothes after realizing that she had splurged 60,000 dollars in just a year.
The Oscar winning star had even apologised for the incident on 'Good Morning America' saying that they had made an "embarrassing" mistake, and promised that it will "never happen again".
