Information and Broadcasting Ministry has constituted the Preview Committee for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2017, on Monday, with director Vivek Agnihotri as the convenor.
The 40-member committee also has national award winning director, 'PINK' fame Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
The preview committee, which has already seen 150 films, will be short listing them for the festival and also will recommend films for the competition section that will then be seen by the international jury.
The film festival, which will be held in November, will have renowned filmmakers Jahnu Barua and Nagesh Kukunoor as the head of the steering and technical committees respectively.
IFFI, considered as one of the top 10 film festivals of the world, will be held in Panaji, Goa, from November 20 to 28.
