World number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has claimed that his highest priority over everything else is winning the French Open, as it remains the only Grand Slam that has eluded his triumphs.
Djokovic is eyeing a fourth Indian Wells title, but his main priority is to lift the trophy at Roland Garros to complete his career Grand Slam.
The Serb star is aiming for back-to-back Indian Wells titles to go with his fifth Australian Open title won earlier this year. He has two Wimbledon crowns and one US Open but has yet to win the French Open, having finished runner-up twice, Sport24 reported.
Djokovic said that the highest priority is the French Open, adding that it of course is the Grand Slam he has never won, but insisted that he has had a lot of good tournaments there, claiming that he has played a couple of finals there and got a step closer.
The world number one said that he doesn't agonize over his defeats in the final of the French Open but rather sees them as a learning experience. He claimed that he uses the losses as a way to grow mentally, physically and emotionally as a player so he can understand what he needs to do better.
He said that he doesn't want to dwell on whether it would happen this year but he plans to show up in top condition and ready to go the distance.
Djokovic claimed that it's still too early to talk about it, adding that the difference to those goals and approach is that he won't put too much pressure on himself.
