DocsApp, a mobile app that connects patients to specialist doctors via chat or call in less than 30 mins, has received three International Organization Standardization (ISO) certifications from one of the most renowned global accreditation bodies, Euro American Joint Accreditation. The certifications garnered are, ISO 9001

These certifications are valid for three years in all 163 Euro-American countries and are issued as per the latest norms of standardization. While many offline healthcare services such as hospitals and service providers have got ISO 9001:2015 and 27001:2013 certifications; this is for the first time that an online healthcare service provider has received ISO certifications.

Earning ISO certifications has been an important milestone for DocsApp. It is a clear demonstration of DocsApp's commitment towards bringing superlative and convenient diagnostic services virtually. Additionally, the certification proves the app's ability to meet the specific needs and requirements of customers with precision. Also, the accreditation body conducted an audit of several processes in the organization and then suggested modifications as per the ISO norms for each process, which DocsApp had to implement. Once the accreditation body was satisfied with implementation of the processes, it recommended ISO certification for the organization.

Commenting on the marquee achievement, Satish Kannan, CEO & Co-founder, DocsApp said, "We are proud to have earned this recognition. Over the years, DocsApp has taken several measures to ensure the safety and security of all the medical records of patients with the help of advanced technology and management procedures. Customer satisfaction and complaints resolution management certification boosts the trust of the customers in us. Gaining three ISO recognitions will definitely provide our clients with the assurance that their data is handled in a safe, reliable, and confidential manner. By following the best practices of the certifications, we shall ensure that DocsApp has employed the appropriate processes to further enhance its quality and services, along with strengthening our market leadership."

The ISO norms remain same for online and offline processes. The certification process works to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard. For the online processes, quality management, customer satisfaction and complaints handling becomes very important. All these certifications will definitely enhance DocsApp's solid reputation in the market and further consolidate its position as the go-to app for all healthcare services.
