ED proceedings in FERA case: SC dismisses Mallya's plea

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the plea of UB Group Chairman Vijay Mallya in connection with a case pertaining to

the violation of foreign exchange rules.

The apex court while dismissing Mallya's plea levied a fine of Rs.10 lakhs.

Mallya had sought quashing of the criminal proceedings initiated against him by Enforcement Directorate.
