Director Edgar Wright has left the upcoming movie 'Ant-Man' due to creative differences, it has been revealed.
A statement released recently explained that the studio and the director have parted ways on 'Ant-Man' due to differences in their visions of the film, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
It further stated that the new director will be announced shortly and the decision does not impact the release date of the movie, which is July 17, 2015 and the choice to move on was made on good terms.
However, the split did come out as a shock, as the project was envisioned as a major showcase for the 'Shaun of the Dead' director and he had been with the project since its inception.
