A two-year-old girl fell into a 700 feet deep borewell in Rajasthan's Jodhpur city on Friday.
Efforts are currently underway to rescue the girl.
The mishap took place at Binjwadia village where the locals opened the borewell to repair its pump. Late last night, all the pipes and pump were pulled out of the well and it was left open.
Two-year-old Neha wandered off from her home while playing and went to the borewell, where she slipped and fell inside.
Earlier in April, a seven-month-old girl had fallen into a 500 feet deep borewell in Surendranagar district of Gujarat.
In the same month, a two-year-old girl fell into a 25-feet borewell in Nawabganj area of Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur district.
