'Elvis & Nixon' acquired as Amazon's 1st theatrical release
Amazon has acquired the distribution rights to the upcoming film 'Elvis and Nixon,' starring Michael Shannon and Kevin Spacey.
Amazon will team up with Bleecker Street, who will handle the film's release, the Deadline.com reported.
The film will have a theatrical bow as part of the deal, which was negotiated by CAA and producer Cassian Elwes.
